Jason Kallivokas, with over fifteen years’ experience in commercial and residential real estate loan servicing, underwriting, origination and valuation, is the Vice President in charge of Private Sector Consulting for RER Resources, LP. In this capacity he has overseen or participated in the underwriting of B-Piece acquisitions on over 127 different loan pools with an aggregate value totaling approximately $21 billion. Additionally, he has participated and overseen the due diligence activities on behalf of Lehman Small Business Finance in their efforts to securitize seasoned small business loans often collateralized by real estate as well as similar activities for such private sector clients as RBS, Arbor Commercial Mortgage, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Ambac Insurance.
Additionally, Mr. Kallivokas serves as a senior financial analyst and project manager within the company’s Federal practice. In this role, he has served as project manager on numerous FDIC Due Diligence assignments in charge of internal quality control and IT coordination as well as performs reviews on select complex transactions.
Previously, Mr. Kallivokas served as RER’s Rehab Escrow Administrator, routinely responsible for the review, approval, documentation, and coordination of over $4,000,000 in monthly reserve account activity. He has developed and supervised the procedures necessary to ensure prompt and accurate rehab escrow management for our federal government agency clients, including underwriting government housing debt refinancing and restructurings. While managing the Closing Department of our firm's HUD Mark to Market Section 8 multifamily contract, he supervised closings on over $335 million in first and second mortgages.
During his career, Mr. Kallivokas served in various management capacities in the real estate sector, including Production Manager and Secondary Marketing Coordinator for Nationwide Mortgage Services, Inc., of Virginia. There, he managed the origination pipeline, ensuring timely processing and closings of all residential mortgages, while directly responsible for lock-ins and delivery functions on closed loans.
Mr. Kallivokas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his Masters of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University.
